Toning:

This is a perfect treatment if you want a color adjustment in your hair. Toning is used to neutralize, change the shade or make the hair darker. A toning will never make a hair lighter as it does not contain any form of lightening. Even if you choose a light color, you add pigment and thus the hair will become slightly darker.

A tint settles into the cuticle and will not dye a hair strand like a permanent hair dye. A tint is gradually washed out of the hair.

You should always use a cooler shade at the base of your hair, as this hair always attracts more warm pigments. Lengths and ends always attract more cool pigments. The drier/porous your hair is, the more color it attracts. You should always use a lighter shade in the lengths and ends so that the lengths do not become too dark. If you want an even color throughout the hair, you should use a darker and cooler color at the base of the scalp and a lighter and warmer color in the lengths. For example, use no. 9 + no. 9.3 at the base of the scalp and only no. 9.3 towards the lengths for a natural result.

The natural colors, the colors without a dot and number behind them, are calculated to tone down a color, cover gray hair and give more depth to the hair color. All the brown shades can be combined with a lighter color if you do not want to get completely dark hair. For example, no. 5.8 can be combined with no. 8 for a lighter brown result.

So here you can combine based on whatever result you want.

Here you will find an explanation of the structure of the different hair colors. A natural color is a color that does not contain a dot and numbers behind it. This will always cover a certain area better and provide better durability. A reflex color is a color that has numbers behind the dot in cold or warm shades. The hair closest to the scalp always attracts more warm pigments, while the lengths and ends always attract more cold pigments. The lengths and ends always attract more color and therefore we recommend a lighter shade in the lengths for an even result from root to tip.

No. 0.0 - Clear
This is a shade without any pigments. By mixing this into another color, the color will be slightly weaker and milder. Using this alone will not give any effect.

No. 10.02 - Cold Very Light Blonde
This is the lightest shade that contains a small amount of purple to neutralize yellow.

No. 10.1 - Ice Light Blonde
This is the lightest silver shade that contains blue to neutralize orange, or if you want more silver color. If your hair contains a little yellow, you should always use this in combination with purple.

No. 10 - Very Light Blonde
This is the lightest natural color we have, which is also a bit cool in tone. Great for toning down very light hair, or in combination with a highlight color to achieve a more natural result. Great for covering gray hair.

No. 9.3 - Golden Blonde
This is a light color with a hint of yellow that gives a natural golden glow. Very nice on light hair for a natural golden result without being perceived as yellow.

No. 9.12 - Cold Blonde
This light natural color is cool and contains a small amount of purple and blue. This is perfect for neutralizing yellow and at the same time giving a cool result due to the blue. This color contains a larger proportion of natural color no. 9 than, for example, 9.21.

No. 9.21 - Very Cold Blonde
This is a very cool color that contains little No. 9 and a large proportion of cool pigments. Perfect for powerful neutralization of golden. It neutralizes both yellow and orange.

No. 9 - Light Blonde
This is a natural color that will not be cold in shade. This is built up to cover gray hair or in combination with a reflective color for more depth in the hair.

No. 8.43 - Light Copper Blonde
A natural copper color, perfect for natural redheads. High yellow content provides brightness, while orange dominates for a rich copper tone. The balance creates a light but distinct copper color.

No. 8 - Blonde
This is a medium blonde color, which contains a small amount of gold that gives the color a slight warm glow.

No. 7.34 - Deep Copper Blonde
This is a slightly dark copper color. Copper is the same as orange which is made up of red and yellow. This is perfect in lengths on dark hair for more glow or in combination with no. 9.3 for lighter hair as lighter hair needs more yellow.

No. 7.1 - Cold Dark Blonde
The base of a pitch 7 is orange, so this color is perfect for giving a natural result on a pitch 7. The blue in the color will then neutralize the orange that is naturally there.

No. 6 - Light Brown
A natural light brown color that is perfect for some depth at the base and good coverage of gray hair. This is not a cool shade, but neutral.

No. 5.8 - Chocolate brown
A slightly rounder brown color that contains warm pigments for more glow. Very nice in combination with no. 8.43 or 9.3 for lengths and ends for an even result.

No. 5.82 - Cold Chocolate Brown
This color contains both warm and cool pigments. Perfect for those who want a little more color on dark hair. Should be combined with a lighter shade for lengths and ends so that the color does not become too dark.

No. 5.1 - Cold Brown
This is a cool brown color. A perfect men's color for a natural dark result, or in combination with natural colors or other cool colors.

No. 4 - Dark Brown
This is a dark brown natural color in a slightly cool shade with good coverage. Should be combined with a lighter color if it is to be extended in lengths.

No. 3.11 - Ice Dark Brown
This color is an icy cold very dark brown color. This contains lots of blue pigments. This is perfect for making a lighter color even colder. 3-4cm with this on for example 7.1 and it will neutralize better on orange hair.

No. 1/2 - Black
This is a black natural color. A cold black color with good coverage. On Scandinavian hair it will be completely black, on thicker hair it will be more brownish black. Hence the name 1/2.

There is a big difference between coloring uncolored hair and hair that has already been treated.

Uncolored hair needs more pigment, i.e. a darker color and a longer exposure time than already treated hair. The main reason for this is that treated hair is already open so the pigments are absorbed into the hair faster. While uncolored hair needs time to open. Already colored/lightened hair will therefore always be darker than uncolored hair if you use the same hair color and the same exposure time on the entire hair.

Toning:

The hair closest to the scalp ALWAYS needs a longer exposure time than the lengths and ends to achieve an even result if you use the same color throughout the hair. The hair closest to the scalp absorbs cold pigments less well. We recommend a lighter color for the lengths and ends or shorten the exposure time so that the lengths and ends do not become darker.

A toning will always make the hair darker as it does not contain any form of lightening.

This is a very gentle color treatment that settles into the cuticle, adds pigments, adds shine and gradually washes out.

Mixing ratio:
Small package: H2O2 1.5% or 0.9% (90ml) + 2 tubes Fargemix.

Application:
We recommend applying SKIN oil around the hairline before the treatment itself, to prevent the color from sticking to the skin.

The tint can be applied to both damp and dry hair. The drier the hair, the better the hold and durability of the color. Always start the application at the very base of the scalp, in the regrowth.

Operating time: 35min, reduce the exposure time in lengths and ends if you use the same color throughout the hair.

Refresh the color at the ends:
Rinse your hair with about 2-4 dl of water, then lather the color into the ends like a shampoo. Leave it on for 1-5 minutes before rinsing out.

Flushing:
After a color treatment, it is important to rinse your hair thoroughly. Wash your hair twice and finish with a good hair conditioner.

There is a big difference between using a tint after bleaching, highlighting or on already lightened hair. The drier the hair, the more pigment it will attract.
