We at by Bente are aware that our planet is crying out "bad hair day" because of the way we live. That's why we're here with eco-friendly hair products that give you good hair karma! First on our payroll? A "Chief Green Officer"! Because having the best products is not only about giving you silky smooth hair, but also about leaving nothing more than a footprint of green glitter on the planet.

Stick your finger in today's hair dye products and you'll find chemicals that make Mother Earth cry and people sneeze. But here at By Bente, we shout "cut, cut!" to such chemicals. We believe it's possible to make quality products without turning the planet into a splash of pollution. We've already said goodbye to many of these chemicals in our products, and we're always on the lookout for greener solutions. Our products should make both the environment and you proud - because we believe in being kind to both the planet and you.

What do we do?
We use recycled packaging where we can, and make sure you can recycle it afterwards. The goal is 100% circular packaging on all our products.

All our plastic bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic, including the cork! The paint tube is made from 100% aluminum, easily recycled along with glass and metal. The cork is made from 100% recycled plastic, and the box is made from 95% recycled paper.

We make sure that the raw materials we have to source because there are (currently) no recycled alternatives come from sustainable sources. What we get locally, we buy locally.

Veganism seeks to exclude all forms of exploitation and cruelty to animals for food, clothing or other purposes. That's why we are very proud that all of our products are certified vegan.

We follow Green Dot's standards and labeling schemes, and pay our share to ensure that the packaging we send back into the circle continues to be recycled.

Our products are not tested on animals. We are against animal testing and financially support PETA in their work to improve animal welfare worldwide.
