Buying guide bleaching - Striping

Bleaching / striping:
Have you previously dyed or bleached your hair? Is your hair damaged or weakened? This will affect how your hair reacts to bleaching. It is always better to use a weaker H202 and let it sit for the full working time. If you want to lighten already lightened hair, 1.5% or 3% will be enough for a nice refresh.

Determine the desired brightness level:
How many tones lighter do you want your hair to be? This will help you choose the right strength of H2O2. The thicker, healthier and darker your hair, the stronger the lightening. Never use more than 6% on dry or already lightened hair.

1.5% H202 lightens about 1 tone - Weakest strength

3% H202 lightens 2-3 tones - Weak strength

6% H202 3-4 tones - Normal strength

7.5% H202 about 4 tones - Normal strength

9% H202 4-5 tones - Heavy strength

12% H202 6-8 tones - Very strong (should consult with city officials)

Understand the products in the package:

Blonde: This is the bleaching powder that will lighten the hair.

H2O2: Hydrogen peroxide activates the bleaching powder and helps the lightening process. Choose the desired strength based on your needs and hair quality.

Assess the condition of your hair:
If your hair is dry or weakened, you should use a light bleaching. It is better for your hair to have several rounds of a light strength rather than a strong and more aggressive bleaching. Use a good hair treatment before and after bleaching to strengthen your hair. If you are unsure what your hair can tolerate or what to choose, we always want you to contact us.💖
