Toning after stripping:
A perfect treatment for neutralizing unnatural golden tones after lightening.
A toning will never lighten a hair, as it does not contain any form of lightening. Therefore it is important not to use a shade that is too dark after lightening so that the streaks disappear again. If you want lighter lengths, we recommend the package "refresh light lengths" so that the lengths do not become darker.
Neutralization of golden:
10.02- Contains a small amount of purple to neutralize yellow. The lightest shade.
10.1- Should often be used in combination with a color that contains purple so that the yellow is neutralized.
9.12- Perfect combination with purple and blue to neutralize yellow and give a cool result. Very nice in combination with no. 10.02 or no. 10.1 for a brighter result.
Colors no. 9 and no. 10 contain more pigment and are therefore used to tone down the streaks. Very nice in combination with other shades when you don't want your hair to be completely light. After lightening, the hair always absorbs more color and these can then become a little dark if used alone.
Here you can read more about the different shades of our colors.
Here you will find an explanation of the structure of the different hair colors. A natural color is a color that does not contain a dot and numbers behind it. This will always cover a certain area better and provide better durability. A reflex color is a color that has numbers behind the dot in cold or warm shades. The hair closest to the scalp always attracts more warm pigments, while the lengths and ends always attract more cold pigments. The lengths and ends always attract more color and therefore we recommend a lighter shade in the lengths for an even result from root to tip.

There is a big difference between coloring uncolored hair and hair that has already been treated.
Uncolored hair needs more pigment, i.e. a darker color and a longer exposure time than already treated hair. The main reason for this is that treated hair is already open so the pigments are absorbed into the hair faster. While uncolored hair needs time to open. Already colored/lightened hair will therefore always be darker than uncolored hair if you use the same hair color and the same exposure time on the entire hair.
Toning:
Applied always in slightly damp hair after lightening streaks. Start application at the very base of the scalp as this always needs a longer working time than lengths and ends to achieve an even result. For dry lengths and ends, it is often enough to simply lather up the tint while rinsing for a refresh. A tint in the lengths will ALWAYS make the hair darker.
When using our natural colors, the stripes will be subdued as they contain more pigments.
Toning after streaks:
If the tint is to be applied all the way to the scalp, the tint must always be applied to slightly damp hair after washing.
Mixture Toning small:
1 bottle N:2 h2o2 0.9% 90ml with 2 tubes N:3 Mix.
Mixing Toning medium:
1 bottle of N:2 h2o2 0.9% 90ml with 3 tubes of N:3 Mix + 30 ml of cold water.
Toning Procedure:
Application: Start applying the tint to slightly damp hair. It is important that the hair is damp, otherwise your hair between the streaks will get a lightening effect. Start at the back and work your way towards the face, and always end with the thin, fine hairs towards the face. Very important that the toning only Apply to the inside of newly streaked regrowth from the start. Lengths and ends absorb color quickly and can thus become darker. Lengths and ends can be foamed up just for a nice refresh.
Operating time: 30min at the bottom. A tint will always make the hair a little darker as it does not contain any form of lightening. You can comb a little right at the transition or pull the tint a little further out towards the end of the exposure time. Lengths and ends will always absorb color much faster than the hair towards the scalp. Always think that the hair that is the most golden needs the most neutralization.
Refresh the color at the ends:
Rinse hair with about 2-4 dl of water, then lather the toner like a shampoo. You can leave it on for 1-5 minutes before rinsing out.
Wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo twice and finish with a good conditioner or hair treatment.
