Instructions for use Strip techniques by Bente

Preparation:
Your hair does not need to be freshly washed, but it is important that you do not have dry shampoo, spray blonde or color spray in your hair. Treat dry or damaged hair with a hair conditioner to ensure a smoother result. If possible, get help from a friend to achieve better application.

Mixing ratio:
1 bag Blond + 1 bottle H2O2 90 ml. Mix only one mixture at a time, if you don't need the whole package you can start with 1 tbsp powder to 2 tbsp H202. There should always be twice as much H202 as powder.

Application:
Apply the mixture to dry hair. Start applying to the darkest hair. The hair around the hairline is thinner and lightens faster.

Operating time:

Leave it on for 20 – 60 minutes, depending on how quickly the hair lightens and the desired lightening level. The bleaching is activated when it leaves the bowl, after 60 minutes the lightening decreases sharply. For increased lightening effect, cover with the plastic cap for the last 15-20 minutes for better lightening. It is important that it is not completely tight. Never use more hydrogen than necessary, better with full exposure time at lower strength than a shorter time with higher h2o2. 9% and 12% must never be used on dry or already lightened hair. It is important that the hair is as light as desired before rinsing.

It is important to monitor the bleaching process. Check the hair by scraping off a little of the bleach as you go, so that the hair is as light as desired before rinsing. The streaks must be more towards light yellow, not orange, so it is always important to leave it in for long enough. After 60 minutes, the effect will decrease considerably.

Flushing:
You can rinse out the strips as they are finished. After all the strips have been rinsed out, wash your hair twice and finish with a good hair treatment.

We always recommend a toning or purple mask for neutralization after streaking for a more natural result. A toning is ALWAYS applied to slightly damp hair after streaking.

Yellow hair is neutralized with purple, the number 2 after the period on the colors contains purple. Read more about neutralization here.
