All our color packs are mixed in bowl and applied with a brush
Color:
A permanent hair color is used to open the hair shaft, the higher the strength of h2o2, the more the hair is opened and the lighter the color. It is the combination of which hair color and strength of h2o2 determines the result. If you choose a very light shade of color, but a weak strength of h2o2, the color will not be lighter than h2o2 can lighten the hair. Our h2o2 contains care ingredients and is therefore a little weaker in strength than others. It is often wise to go up a notch if you want to cover some gray hair or want a lighter result. Strengths of 6% and 7.5% are most commonly used for permanent hair color.
You should always use a cooler shade at the base of your hair, as this hair always attracts more warm pigments. Lengths and ends always attract more cool pigments. The drier/porous your hair is, the more color it will attract. If you want an even color throughout your hair, you should use a darker, cooler color at the base of your hair, and a lighter, warmer color in the lengths.
The natural colors, the colors without a dot and number behind them, are calculated to tone down a color, cover gray hair and give more depth to the hair color. You must use our natural colors to cover gray hair 100%. This must then be mixed with 6% or 7.5%.
All the brown shades can be combined with a lighter color if you don't want to go completely dark in your hair. For example, no. 5.8 can be combined with no. 8 for a lighter brown result.
So here you can combine based on whatever result you want.
Here you will find an explanation of the structure of the different hair colors. A natural color is a color that does not contain a dot and numbers behind it. This will always cover a certain area better and provide better durability. A reflex color is a color that has numbers behind the dot in cold or warm shades. The hair closest to the scalp always attracts more warm pigments, while the lengths and ends always attract more cold pigments. The lengths and ends always attract more color and therefore we recommend a lighter shade in the lengths for an even result from root to tip.

There is a big difference between coloring uncolored hair and hair that has already been treated.
Uncolored hair needs more pigment, i.e. a darker color and a longer exposure time than already treated hair. The main reason for this is that treated hair is already open so the pigments are absorbed into the hair faster. While uncolored hair needs time to open. Already colored/lightened hair will therefore always be darker than uncolored hair if you use the same hair color and the same exposure time on the entire hair.
Hair color dark:
Dry shampoo or color spray should be washed out before dyeing as this may prevent the color from adhering properly.
For lengths and ends, you should always choose a lighter color as this absorbs color faster and will become darker. If you have treated the lengths and ends, you can use a tint on them for a nice refresh.
Permanent hair color by Bente:
We always recommend applying SKIN oil around the hairline before the treatment to prevent the color from sticking to the skin. Put on gloves and a plastic cape. Then, find a clean, dry mixing bowl and color brush. If possible, have a friend help you with the application to make the process easier.
Mixing ratio:
Medium: H2O2 (90ml) + 3x Mix for long aftergrowth.
Application:
A permanent hair color is applied dry throughout the entire regrowth from the start. Lengths and ends are drier and can absorb a lot of color. You should either reduce the exposure time on the lengths or you can lather up the color for a nice refresh.
Working time 30 minutes from the time everything is applied. Always rinse well after a color treatment. Wash your hair twice and finish with a good conditioner or hair treatment.
Do you want to refresh the color in your lengths?
Pour about 2-4 dl of water over the hair where the color is and lather the color up into the lengths like a shampoo. Leave it on for 2-5 minutes before rinsing everything out. We recommend adding a few drops of SKIN oil to the mixture for the lengths for even more shine and nourishment.
If you want to freshen up already treated lengths, you should order a lighter shade for them as they absorb more color and can become darker.
