When dyeing your hair lighter, you should always use a cooler shade to neutralize the golden underlying pigments that are naturally present in your hair. Dry shampoo or color spray should be washed out before the treatment, as this can prevent the color from adhering properly.

Always use a cooler color in the regrowth as this hair absorbs warmer pigments better. Never recommend the same color throughout the hair as the lengths and ends will quickly become darker and cooler. If you have treated the lengths and ends, you can use a tint on them for a nice refresh.
